Digital Experience Center Design, complex multi-player games and simulations for learning, Video-based learning, and Virtual Reality-based learning are my current obsessions. I have been working across these domains for the past couple of years and have had the good fortune to do award winning work with a crack team.
Although I will always be a designer at heart, in my day job as the Head of Simulations, Serious Games and Emerging Technologies business at MPS Interactive Systems (earlier Tata Interactive Systems), I oversee product innovations, go-to-market strategy and operations of the business.
For 4 years (2011 – 2015), I headed the National Training Content Development team at Vodafone India, in their Customer Service domain. My award-winning “content factory” developed all the national training content for 40,000 people across multiple LOBs across 23 circles – be it Sales & Distribution, Retail, CS frontline or Back Office. We have won the Brandon Hall Excellence Award, Aegis Graham Bell award, and the Telecom Leaders Award for Innovation for our learning game and knowledge management portal.
Before that, I spent over 10 years in the technology-enabled learning domain, with wide ranging experiences in Instructional Design, Account Management and Business Management at Tata Interactive Systems. The three years I have spent on site in the US managing various large accounts have given me deep insights into the business imperatives that drive and govern enterprise level learning solutions.
Overall, I have spent 18 years in the area of translating business strategies into people capability building agendas. I have deep expertise in the learning domain, be it learning consultancy, training needs analysis, instructional design, knowledge management, technology-enabled learning or gamification.
