Biography

Lisa Carmona serves as McGraw-Hill Education’s School Group Senior Vice President of Product Portfolio K-12. She is responsible for leading and developing strategic plans for products and services to ensure McGraw-Hill Education is providing purposeful learning experiences and environments that empower teachers, inspire students, and deliver outcomes.

Lisa joined McGraw-Hill Education in 2006 as Editorial Director for Mathematics Intervention and Alternative Basal programs. She has led the development of market-driven, standards-based curriculum, including Glencoe Math, Spotlight on Music, and Inspire Science. She has helped conceptualize and deliver innovative technology across grade spans and curriculum, including new apps and ConnectED functionality.

Prior to joining McGraw-Hill Education, Lisa was Editorial Director at Frank Schaffer Publications in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She has experience at School Specialty Publishing and School Zone Publishing, where she served as an Editorial Director, Executive Editor, and Editor. Lisa began her career with South-Western Educational Publishing in Cincinnati as an editor in the mathematics/science department. Lisa is pursuing a Master of Business Administration from Ohio University. She graduated magna cum laude from Central Michigan University with Bachelor’s degrees in both English and Art.
