Chitra Sarmma specializes in applying behavioural science to improve business processes and outcomes.
Over 27 years, both as an entrepreneur and while working for global organisations in a variety of industries, she has worked in designing-implementing culture and organisation development interventions and in the facilitation of creative, outcome-oriented solutions, with an emphasis on using play to facilitate learning and transformation processes.
Her areas of expertise include, Organization Vision-Action, Building Organization Culture, Leadership Assessment-Development, Coaching, Business Turnaround, Diversity & Inclusion, Instructional Design, Leader Development using Storytelling, Non-cognitive (personality) testing, demonstrating thought leadership in research and practice and Serious Games.
She has presented her science-practice research at international conferences in the United States, Europe, and India.
Chitra is currently a Partner Consultant: Leadership and Organisation Development with Organisations and Alternatives (www.oacindia.in).
She is also empanelled as a Training Consultant with British Council.
Previously, she was with the Infosys Leadership Institute (Infosys Limited) designing Serious Games for leader and organisation development and as a facilitator-coach for senior leaders.
A Post-Graduate in the field of management, a Graduate in English Language and Literature, she holds a University of Cambridge ESOL Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA).
