Adriana Moscatelli is the founder of Play Works Studio, a company developing science education games for girls and boys. Prior to founding Play Works, she started Uiidea Design, a User Experience consulting business. Adriana has worked and consulted for large companies such as Microsoft, Nokia, The Pokémon Company International, Amazon, Hasbro/Wizards of the Coast and Whirlpool; she has also been involved with several startups in gaming and mobile, including Smith&Tinker, Zumobi, and Fire Opal Media. With over 15 years of experience in software development, mobile applications, and gaming, Adriana holds an Undergraduate degree in Industrial Design from the University of Montevideo and a Masters degree in Human-Computer Interaction Design from Carnegie Mellon University. She is the recipient of a National Science Foundation Small Business Innovation Research award.
