Submissions Due May 1 for Serious Games Award Competition

Los Angeles – March 28, 2016 – Entries for the International Serious Play Awards, a program that honors outstanding mobile and browser games or simulations designed for training or other educational applications, are due May 1, 2016. Submissions for K-12, higher or vocational education; corporate, government/military or healthcare training; museum visitor education or other applications launched after August 1, 2015 are eligible.

Entrants must provide access to the game for up to five judges. Universities may also submit student games, due May 15, 2016.

Winners will be showcased during the 2016 Serious Play Conference Tuesday – Thursday, July 26 – 28 at the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill. The conference, produced by the Serious Games Association, is being hosted by the UNC Department of Computer Science.
